Our next theme is “Mistaken Identity”.
As usual, we are being pretty loose with our definition but in general what we are thinking about:
- Characters being mistaken for someone important and taking advantage
- Characters ending up in a bad position because they are mistaken for someone else
- Mimics or other shape-changers being mistaken for something/someone else
- Characters disguising themselves intentionally
- Two or more characters meeting without knowing they have an existing connection
I’m sure there are other examples as well.
As usual I will try to list out some example books. And I’m sure that the library will have a Libby collection at some point.
What to Bring
- •A book that fits the theme (optional!)
- •A 2-3 minute pitch if sharing
- • Theme ideas for future sessions
- • Your enthusiasm (required!)
